The United Republic of Tanzania has handed over the Kiwira Coal Mine to State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) and expecting to begin production within Three months. The Kiwira mines is the Biggest Coal Mine in Tanzania. Kiwira has an average of annual output of 35,000 metric tonnes of Coal.
